欧胡岛美食
欧胡岛上云集了很多世界一流的主厨。Alan Wong（黄志光餐厅 (Alan Wong’s Restaurant)）、Roy Yamaguchi（罗伊威基基餐厅 (Roy’s Waikiki)）、George Mavrothalassitis（墨伏罗主厨餐厅 (Chef Mavro Restaurant)）和 Phillippe Padovani (Elua) 等主厨都是 25 年前夏威夷地方美食运动的发起者，他们的精神薪火相传，一直到今天在激励着欧胡岛餐饮业的振兴发展。这些当地的传奇主厨运用岛上最新鲜的农产品和食材，结合夏威夷传统烹饪方式和日本、中国、菲律宾和美国的经典烹饪风格，创造出无数的创新美食。
新一代主厨则在尝试运用现代化手法诠释夏威夷和亚洲菜系，这些出色的年轻主厨们延续了使用本地食材的传统，您可以在 Pig and the Lady、Lucky Belly 和 Mud Hen Water 等几家檀香山餐厅品味到他们别具创新的手艺。
而在北海岸，放松休闲和各式海鲜变成了主打节奏。墨西哥玉米饼包炸鱼 (Fish tacos) 是哈雷瓦镇等一些冲浪小镇的必选美食。海虾餐车（主要售卖各种以虾为主的客饭美食）和凉爽可口的夏威夷刨冰（与冰碎类似，是夏季解暑的佳品）也在当地随处可见。
