Big Island Bees

Join our beekeeper for a fun and educational exploration about bees, beekeeping, and honey, where from behind a safe, screened viewing area, you can view an open beehive demonstration with our bees. Farm tours are available at 10am, 12pm, & 2pm Monday to Friday and 10am & 12pm on Saturday. Tours fill up fast! Book your tour at bigislandbees.com to guarantee a spot. Also each weekday, from 10am to 4pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 2 pm, explore our museum and learn about bees and honey through text, poems, and pictures. Examine antique and modern tools our family has used to bring honey from our hives to the table. Watch bees in our observation hive, take apart an empty beehive, or try on a beekeeper’s suit. All our existing varietals are available to sample or purchase, together with other beeswax and honey products. Distributed throughout Hawaii, our national award-winning honeys are raw and are known for their intense flavors and unique flavor profiles.
