The Point at Haleiwa is a 60-acre private North Shore estate that is oceanfront with over 1 mile of shoreline. Hawaiian-Style ATV Adventure Tours During our ATV Adventure Tour, you and your family will enjoy exploring our 60-acre North Shore private beachfront estate, which includes gorgeous coastline views & panoramic views of Mt Kaala, Oahu’s tallest mountain range. We offer three sizes of ATVs, depending on your age. The minimum age for a rider is just ten years for age. Our large ATV allows a passenger to ride with their guest. All riders undergo a training and safety ATV orientation program before the tour. Our ATV tour cruises through one of Waialua’s largest Hawaiian farms, where you will be oriented on the Hawaiian fruits and vegetables grown. Next, we enter Oahu’s only-built ATV tracks, where you can test your driving skills and improve your performance with each lap! The last part of our ATV Adventure is the best, taking guests around our exclusive North Shore 15-acre peninsula, with a scenic photo stop at the Point’s Turtle Cove. Hawaiian-Style Oceanfront Horseback Riding Within the Point at Haleiwa is our North Shore Stables, one of Hawaii’s largest facilities for learning about the beautiful world of horses. These magnificent animals will provide a fun and memorable experience on your escorted tour of our private 60-acre estate, including over one mile of shoreline. Our horseback riding tour differs from other locations on Oahu because it offers one of the few oceanfront horseback riding trails. Even if you have yet to gain horseback riding experience, do not worry; our staff will orient you on how to handle your horse before the tour and provide a safety orientation. Riders must be ten years of age, and kids from 6-9 years can also take the tour with a staff member leading their horse. Your tour begins by riding through one of Oahu’s largest Hawaiian Farms, packed full of banana trees, papaya trees, and other local crops, with the scenic backdrop of Oahu’s tallest mountain range, Mount Kaala. The tour then offers a leisurely ride to the estate’s private peninsula with fantastic ocean views on both sides of the Point at Haleiwa. Here you will learn about the estate’s restoration of its 1-mile North Shore coastline with native plants to reverse the beach erosion and the effects of sea level rise caused by climate change. One of the tour’s highlights is a stop at Turtle Cove, where your escort will educate the riders on our protected Hawaiian Turtles. The last part of our trial ride takes our guests around our exclusive North Shore 15-acre peninsula and along our beautiful private coastline, where our escorts will be happy to take your pictures on your phones. Horsemanship Lessons North Shore Stables at the Point of Haleiwa offers the best horseback lesson facility on Oahu, with hundreds of local children and adults participating in our horsemanship programs. Malama Hawaii Shoreline Restoration Programs at the Point at Haleiwa The Point at Haleiwa has been designated as an official destination for the Hawaii Tourism Authority and the Hawaii Visitors Bureau’s Malama Hawaii program. If you want to give back to Hawaii while on vacation, please consider joining the Point at Haleiwa’s Malama Hawaii Shoreline restoration program. Our Malama Hawaii program allows you to positively impact our environment by helping us restore our shorelines by planting native vegetation that prevents erosion and rebuilding lost sand dunes. Our Malama Hawaii programs are available for individuals, families, and groups, in which participants learn about our Hawaiian shoreline plants, their unique root systems, and how they symbiotically work together to prevent shoreline erosion and damage caused by climate change and sea level rise. Private Parties and Event Facilities For the ultimate oceanfront private parties and event facilities, choose the Point at Haleiwa for our fantastic location and affordable rates. We can handle groups of just ten guests to groups of 700 or more. We provide free parking for vehicles, mini-busses, and large motor coaches. Per-person rates are based on just four hours of rental and can be extended for an entire day. Our group program includes tables, chairs, wooden structures, or tents. We can also provide your lighting, stage, and sound systems for an additional fee. Group organizers can provide their food, bar, or entertainment, or our staff can arrange everything. In addition, our event staff can offer groups everything needed for a beach barbeque, including all the barbeque equipment, coals, utensils, and paper plates. Our group facilities include a vast yard area, and our in-house event staff has a host of additional activities that you may want to consider as add-ons, which include Pony rides, power wheels, bouncy houses, a mini-carousel, remote-controlled car race track, North Shore Skeeball, photo station, and a basketball hoops. Also, our horseback riding programs and ATV Adventure Tours offered by North Shore Stables are available to your guests. Circle Island Tours If your group has arranged a circle island tour, please consider at least a one-hour stop at the Point at Haleiwa. We offered clean, airconditioned restrooms, a narrated 20-minute trolley tour of our 60- acre private estate, and great photo opportunities at our private North Shore beach. Two- and three-hour stops can include a horseback ride, an ATV adventure tour, a narrated trolley tour, and shoreline photo opportunities. The Point at Haleiwa also has delicious bento meals for those groups that need a great breakfast or luncheon stop. Cruise ship Tours The Point at Haleiwa has half-day and full-day programs for cruise ship tours. We also cater to the crews of the cruise ships in port and will always provide them with tour specials.
